The second-year shamanic apprenticeship program is intended for students who have completed at least one year of shamanic training with me or another professional shaman. This is an opportunity to complete any unfinished work, go deeper, and focus on what you are bringing to the world in a structured, supportive environment. This program is for you if you feel a commitment to being out of your own way and have an active intention to apply discovered gifts and talents to what your corner of the world needs. In short, your old stories don’t apply any more, you have the training, but would like help navigating the return to the “ordinary world.”

Why this program or class?

  • To finish your training. Some may want to revisit past lessons or material. If you haven’t worked with me, you may enjoy learning from another shaman’s point of view.

  • You’re stuck in the ‘return stage’ of your mythic journey! After all the learning and transformation, we have to reintegrate with the ordinary world but with all our new senses, guides and new understanding.

  • You benefit from the structure and accountability of a class to follow through. This program may help you redefine, refine or discover your calling.

  • Review of journeys, extractions, readings by an experienced teacher can get you back on track, build confidence and self-assurance.

  • You’re seeking further refinement or discovery of your individual shamanic voice.

  • You’ve come for community and connection. We will work with shamanic ceremony each month, virtually.

Key Points and Questions to be Answered:

  • What is mine to do in service to my guides and spirit each day? Each week? Month? Year?

  • What is in your medicine bag? Have you created one? This is a specific physical representation of your shamanic identity and is expected to shift and grow with you.

  • Define your point of view. What is your idea of the cosmos? How does it all fit together? This is important because people are drawn to the helpers that are best suited to work with their challenge.

  • Create a working definition of shamanism in your own words, the work that you offer, and set goals.

You will receive from me:

  • Review of journeys you do for others. You must be ready, willing and able to show your work.

  • Live calls, schedule to be determined. Recordings will be dependent on participation.

  • A monthly lesson on the shamanic theme of each of the month. This is meant to guide and support you. There may be writing prompts for journals, a journey to do, reading or other activity.

  • Access to year one material.

  • Review of your rune readings or other rune work.

  • Looking into your blind spots: 2 SRE’s (Soul Retrieval/Extraction) with me, or opt for a soul mentoring session in place of an SRE, spaced out over the 9 months.

  • Learn and practice shamanic work for companion and barn animals, such as dogs, cats and horses.

  • A recommended reading list will be provided in your welcome email documents.

Prerequisite:

This is an upper-level shamanic course designed for those with experience and self-knowledge. You must know how to journey, have an established relationship with 2-3 close spirit guides, have successfully completed soul retrieval journeys for others, and/or have some experience with shamanic living. Being a shaman requires deep and sometimes fierce compassion, care for the natural world and all sentient beings.

If you have learned shamanism in the past from another teacher, it would be helpful to have a phone interview as part of your application process. We will schedule calls one on one as needed.
